  13. CreativeAV for OS/2
  14. -------------------
  15.  
  16.   CreativeAV for OS/2 is a suite of playback utilities that allows
  17.   you to control the multimedia devices on your PC. It consists of 
  18.   CreativeCD which plays audio CD tracks. 
  19.  
  20. Package Information
  21. -------------------

  23.   The CreativeAV for OS/2 package has three types of files:
  24.  
  25.      o  CreativeCD files,
  26.      o  Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files, and
  27.      o  Readme file.

  30.   These files include:

  32.      CTCD.EXE       - CreativeCD Program file
  33.      CTCD.HLP       - CreativeCD Help file
  34.      CTCD.ICO       - CreativeCD Icon file
  35.  
  36.      PLAYER.DLL     - DLL file for the Player's interface
  37.      PLAYLIST.DLL   - DLL file for the Playlist dialog box
  38.      CTCCPM.DLL     - DLL file for Creative's custom-controlled window
  39.      CTABOUT.DLL    - DLL file for the Product Information Box

  44. Installation Instructions
  45. -------------------------

  47.   The Installation program, found in the diskette provided, creates CreativeCD
  48.   object on your Desktop.
  49.  
  50.   To install any CreativeCD object:
  51.  
  52.      1. Run the program INSTALL.EXE from OS/2 command prompt.
  53.         => The 'Selective Installation Utility' dialog box will appear.
  54.  
  55.      2. Select the CreativeCD to be installed.
  56.  
  57.      3. Specify the target directory. The default directory is C:\CTCD.
  58.  
  59.      4. Choose the INSTALL button to begin installation.
  60.         => The 'Installation Status' dialog box will appear.
  61.         => The installation will be successfully completed.

  64. Known Bugs
  65. ----------
  66.  
  67. 1. Double-clicking on a file to play it can cause an access violation in
  68.    DOSCALL1.DLL in OS/2 (Version 2.1 or 3.0).
  69.  
  70. 2. Draging files from Files: list box into places other than the
  71.    Playlist: list box can cause an access violation in PMDRAG.DLL in
  72.    OS/2 Version 2.1.
